OXALIS V

This work is composed of two elements joined in a complex game, and which are complementary fortheir balance. The sculpture refers to the Far East calligraphy, the piece is calligraphy in space. It issleek, strong, seems slight, volumes are entwined in a stable equilibrium. It refers to the renewal of life, I allude to my transition phase at the turn of this century. Change in my personal life and in my work. It expresses the elegant simplicity, it also symbolizes the comforting affection. The volumes of the sculpture are as important as the empty space around it which allows our gaze to circulate between the volumes.
